Part 1 - Anglo. Saxon... or whatever happened to The Jutes?
English is a funny language isn't it? Not only do we incorporate words from other languages, we often infiltrate languages. The Open University has created a very entertaining set of 10 videos talking about the origin of English. Everyday, we'll add one of the videos plus a transcript of what they say, so we can become experts on the English language! :-)
